Bill Moore  leads "Savior of the World: The Good News From Saint Luke                                                                                                                            How would you tell the story of Jesus — and explain his mission — if you set out to write it all down? What moments and sayings would you include? What would you leave out? These are the kinds of questions Luke needed to consider when he began to put together his account of the Good News. In our adult Sunday School class, we will study the message and meaning of St. Luke’s Gospel, and explore how he answered those questions. We’ll also talk about what that message means for our lives today. 

Pastor Matt Williams leads us in a study of Servanthood                     Being a servant of Christ is not always easy, nor is it always something we wish to do. Learning to see every aspect of life as service to God, give up what we want to meet the needs of others, give away time, money, and energy to volunteer, and to do so praising God, expecting no recognition, and with our eyes focused continually on Jesus is a journey. This class will discuss why and how we become servants of Jesus and others, how to balance life and health with servanthood, character traits that impact and help develop the lifestyle of being a servant, and Biblical passages and stories which challenge our conceptions of servanthood and being a slave to Jesus Christ. 



Discipleship

Life Groups is ABC's small group ministry. Groups of 6-12 people meet no less than twice a month. In our meetings we study the Bible, encourage one another, prod each other in our walk with Jesus, pray together and care for one another as we grow in relationship to one another.
