The Brethren in Christ Logo

The Cross, white dove, and the basin and towel symbolize our beliefs in a nutshell: By His suffering and sacrificial death on the Cross for us, Jesus Christ provided complete atonement for sin. But Christ's death was not the end; he rose again, victorious over sin and death. The dove is a symbol of the Holy Spirit who works in the world, convincing persons of sin and bringing them to repentance and faith, guiding them to fullness of life in Christ. And finally, the basin and towel represent the Brethren in Christ emphasis on obedience to God and service to humanity by remembering Christ's washing of His disciples' feet.
